Max and Erma's Sold

For the second time in less than a week, a locally-based restaurant has been sold.

Columbus-based Max and Erma's has agreed to sell its restaurants to Pittsburgh Firm, G&R Acquisition, for $10.2 million.

The move turns the restaurant chain back into a private company. The board has already approved the deal.

The news comes less than a week after Dublin-based Wendy's announced they were being purchased by the parent company of Arby's. That deal is worth $2.3 billion and still needs approval from both boards.
